Ingredients

  • 500g beef rump steak, cut into strips
  • 1/3 cup black bean sauce
  • 440g pkt hokkien noodles
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 1 onion, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 bunch baby pak choy
  • 1 red capsicum, deseeded, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce

Method

  • Step 1 In a small bowl, combine rump beef strips and black bean sauce, stirring to coat. Chill for 10 mins.
  • Step 2 Place noodles in a bowl of hot water. Separate with a fork. Drain well and keep warm.
  • Step 3 Heat peanut oil in a work or large frying pan on high. Stir-fry beef in 2 batches for 2-3 mins until well browned. Transfer to a plate.
  • Step 4 Cut onion into wedges and baby pak choy. Add to wok and stir-fry for 1-2 mins. Return beef to pan with the capsicum and sweet chilli sauce. Reduce heat and stir fry for 1-2 mins. Toss noodles through to serve.
