Ingredients

  • 1.6kg sebago potatoes, peeled, halved
  • 120g butter, chopped
  • 1 cup milk

Method

  • Step 1 Cook potato in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water for 20 minutes or until tender. Drain. Return potato to pan.
  • Step 2 Reduce heat to low. Stir for 1 minute (see note). Add butter and half the milk. Mash to combine. Gradually add remaining milk, mashing until smooth. Season with pepper. Serve.
