Ingredients

  • 1 x brioche loaf
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 orange, thickly sliced in rounds
  • ricotta or thick cream to serve

Method

  • Step 1 Cut brioche into thick slices and grill until golden. Place brown sugar and orange juice in a non-stick frying pan over medium-low heat and stir until sugar has dissolved. Add orange rounds to the pan and cook until caramelised and golden. Serve oranges and sauce over the brioche slices with a dollop of ricotta or thick cream.
