Ingredients

  • 500g Coles Australian Beef Mince
  • 1 Coles Australian Free Range Egg, lightly whisked
  • 1 cup (70g) fresh breadcrumbs (made from day-old bread)
  • 1 brown onion, coarsely grated
  • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
  • 1 bunch radish, ends trimmed, cut into matchsticks
  • 1/2 cup (150g) whole-egg mayonnaise
  • 4 Coles Brioche Burger Buns, split, toasted
  • 8 butter lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 red onion, finely shaved

Method

  • Step 1 Combine the mince, egg, breadcrumbs, onion and mixed herbs in a large bowl. Season well. Divide into 4 even portions. Shape each portion into a 10cm-wide patty. Place on a baking tray in the fridge for 15 mins to chill.
  • Step 2 Heat a barbecue grill or chargrill on medium. Spray the patties with olive oil spray. Cook for 5 mins each side or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil. Set aside for 5 mins to rest.
  • Step 3 Meanwhile, combine the radish and mayonnaise in a medium bowl. Season.
  • Step 4 Place the bun bases on serving plates. Top with lettuce leaves, onion, patties and radish mixture. Top with bun tops and serve immediately.
