Ingredients

  • 1 litre milk
  • 1 litre thickened cream
  • 2 x 200g blocks dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/3 cup marsala
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso coffee powder
  • Whipped cream, to serve
  • Grated dark chocolate, to serve

Method

  • Step 1 Place milk, cream, chopped chocolate, marsala and coffee powder in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook, whisking constantly, for 10 minutes or until chocolate is melted and mixture is well combined and heated through.
  • Step 2 Pour mixture among warmed serving glasses. Dollop with whipped cream, if using, and sprinkle with grated chocolate. Serve.
